A standard t-shirt is knitted at 160–180 GSM, which clings, curls at the hem and thins out after a few washes. Every TEEYZ oversized t-shirt is cut from 220 GSM cotton — around a third heavier — so the fabric falls straight off the shoulder, stays opaque against the skin and keeps its structure wash after wash.
Heavyweight cotton can feel boardy straight out of the bag. Ours is bio washed twice, an enzyme process that lifts surface fuzz, relaxes the knit and settles the fabric before it ever reaches you. The tee you unbox is already soft, matte and pill-resistant — no stiff first-wear phase to get through.
Oversized should read as intentional, not as a size too big. TEEYZ patterns are graded with a dropped shoulder seam, a wider body and a shorter length, so the silhouette stays clean across heights and builds. Unisex sizing, with a full measurement chart on every product page — stay true to size for the intended fit, or go one up for extra drape.
Graphics are laid down in high-density ink and cured so the artwork flexes with the fabric instead of sitting on top of it, and the dyes are colour-locked against fading. Designed and manufactured in India, then checked piece by piece before it ships.
